I love ink! I am fascinated by how it flows and mixes, and the stories of its provenance - berries, leaves, chemicals, vegetables. Many hours have been spent sourcing vintage and rare inks, and blending with them to create new colours and textures. These are then used to create simple illustrations reflecting the world around me. The above image is representative of the botanicals found around Drumnadrochit.

As much as I love ink, I will never use all I make and I sell small kits that include the ink, paper, pens and ideas: I have shared a little piece of the Highlands with Australia, Austria, America, and more.
