ADDITIONAL NOTES FROM WORKSHOP

Thank you for joining me on my recent Monoprinting Workshop. You all created some really lovely work - I know a couple of you have printed on different coloured paper, and one even did some reverse writing, so I hope you have fun continuing to explore in the next week or so. Don’t forget to add ink, or sketch over the top of your prints to add extra interest.

If you are interested in making your own sketchbook or journal I have included what is probably the definitive instruction on Coptic stitch book binding; as I mentioned it is not my usual style to use other people’s videos, but I really feel this will help as Jennifer explains the basic stitching process so beautifully and clearly and it will give a you heads up!

And some of you may want to try making your own printing plate which can be made using gelatine. As requested, I have also included a video which gives clear instructions.
