Dive into the heart of summer with a workshop dedicated to reflection and forward thinking. This session is full of inspiring ways to fill your journal with contemplations from the first half of the year, plans for the Summer, and how to curate materials to draw upon as part of the creative writing process. The workshop will also include an overview of collaging, drawing, and nature crafts.

Materials needed

The following items will be useful

• A journal or notebook

• Pen or pencil

• Colouring pencils, or markers

• A selection of images to do with the summer: the sun, birds, sky, flowers, etc

• Glue or tape

• A couple of fresh leaves
